WELCOME
This site is designed to be both a reference for other collectors as well as a display of my
personal collection.
When your birthday is in October it is impossible not to grow up loving this holiday! Ever
since I was a little boy, my family always gave me Halloween decorations. Sadly, many of my
beloved decorations were lost. As an adult, I began the long journey of searching for these
lost treasures which lead me to collecting not only the ones from my childhood (vintage) but
also the pieces of my Parents and Grandparents (antique). I now have over 300 Decorations!
The hardest part has been finding reference information about older decorations. As my
collection grows and I gather information, this web site will hopefully become a good tool for
others.

Each picture to the left of this text is a link to an era in Halloween history -starting with the
1900's and moving through the 1970's. On each page you will find some of my favorite
pieces and as my collection continues to grow, I will update these pages.
Most of the items I like collecting are the cardboard decorations known as Die-Cuts. Many
of the Die-Cuts were made by the two largest manufacturers of holiday decorations - Beistle
and Dennison. These two companies were the leaders in holiday party decorations.
Placing value on collectibles is never easy. The pricing you will find here is from what I
have found in antique books, collector sales and antique stores. Two great reference books
that any vintage Halloween collector should have are Halloween Collectibles by Mark B.
Ledenbach and Timeless Halloween Collectibles by Claire M. Lavin. Both of these books are
very detailed. Thank you to both of these authors for their amazing works! For more
imformation on Mak B. Ledenbach visit www.HalloweenCollector.com
I hope that my fellow Halloween enthusiasts will find this website informative and I encourage
everyone to share their opinions, comments and questions by e-mailing me at
